We present our program "Areas for Change”
Sustainability
We are committed to environmentally friendly design and practices. From construction to operations, we strive to be considerate of our environment impact. We are proud to have achieved LEED certification in several service plazas, and we diligently factor sustainability into the design of all our concepts. We maximize the use of natural materials which are both more durable and environmentally friendly.

Social responsibility
Social responsibility Thanks to the passion and dedication of our associates and generosity of our guests, we are able to support our communities through many philanthropic efforts. We tailor our philanthropy to meet the needs of local communities wherever we operate and leverage our company-wide efforts to raise awareness and donations.
Recognition
The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) awarded Areas USA the Green Airplane rating for our sustainable concessions program in terminal 5 of Chicago O’Hare International Airport. The CDA is the first in the nation to develop sustainable guidelines for design and construction at airports. The Sustainable Airport Manual was created as an integral part of Chicago’s ongoing effort to implement more environmentally sustainable initiatives across all airport activities.
