Areas Opens First Starbucks at WVA

“The entire Areas team is very proud to be a part of the Starbucks team. They really came together and did a fantastic job in creating a wonderful space,” says Tommie Sanders, regional vice president.

The team partnered with Amy Bucchi, Starbucks representative, to open the unit including re-certifying and retraining the team who received a Starbucks passport. This enhanced training improves each associate’s ability to sell the special coffee. Additionally, new uniforms were presented including polos, aprons, and hats/visors.

A Burger King and Mountaineer Market were also opened at WVA.

Both the Pizza Hut and KFC, now under renovation as well as the Mountain State Café are slated to open in late March.
