For the past three years, Richard had led the operations team as COO while engaged in many business development efforts making his transition a beneficial advancement for the company. Richard brings a wealth of experience and valuable relationships built throughout his 27 years in the hospitality industry.

Prior to joining Areas, Schneider led the foodservice and hospitality business at Spectra in Philadelphia. Prior to that, he served as COO of the Sportservice and Travel divisions at Delaware North. Richard has also held executive positions with Trump Entertainment, MGM Grand Resorts, Caesar’s Entertainment, and Midwest Gaming.
Richard will be responsible for leading the business development team in identifying, attracting, and establishing new client relationships to develop and grow the business. He is also responsible for maintaining current relationships with clients, stakeholders, and brand partners. Additionally, he will be leading brand and concept development, governmental affairs, community engagement, strategic partnerships as well as design and construction.
