Areas USA Raises Almost $50,000 to Help Raise Awareness for the American Diabetes Association

May, 2015 — Areas USA grew their partnership with the American Diabetes Association to include a successful national POS add-on campaign. For an 8 week period this Spring, guests were invited to donate to this cause which affects so many people.  Because of the team’s dedication and the generosity of our guests, we were able to raise just shy of $50,000.


This campaign helped complement the efforts of a canister campaign already in place along some of the Florida Turnpike which began in June of 2014.  Last year Areas USA raised more than $12,500 for ADA with this drive.

The American Diabetes Association’s mission is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. They fund research, deliver services to hundreds of communities across the country, provide lifesaving information, and advocate on behalf of those denied their rights because of diabetes.

Areas USA believes that social responsibility has a positive impact on development, business, and society. Developing relationships with your local community is an important step to creating that impact.  Applying the power of a company-wide campaign takes it to the next level providing invaluable support and awareness as well as giving associates a common cause to work towards and of which to be proud.
